Role:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Kaimahi Hauora/Support worker for high complex clients based in Porirua and Lower Hutt

You would support clients with an injury or disability, who require daily support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to our kiritaki/clients enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal and complex care, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
• Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.

Essential:

• Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends, evenings, and overnights
• Minimum 2 year's experience working with High Complex clients with disability
• Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Qualification
• Full drivers' licence
• Good command of the English language

Preferred:

• Empathetic and compassionate nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability
