Seeking Kaimahi Hauora/Support Workers for our client in Ascot Park, Porirua.

Role:
As a Kaimahi Hauora/Support Worker, you'll be providing essential support to our client. Your role involves providing client centred support in their home and within the community.

Shifts available:

Week 1 - Sundays 1200-1500

Week 2 - Tuesdays, Fridays 1700-2000, Sundays 1200-1500

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to our client enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
• Assist with daily activities, including personal complex cares, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
• Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.

Essential:

• Entitlement to work in New Zealand
• Full drivers licence
• Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends
• Clear communication and understanding of the English language

Preferred:

• Health and Wellbeing qualification
• Experience in Home care support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understands the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability
