We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operator to join a busy team in Hamilton. This is a temporary position with full-time or part-time hours depending on operational requirements. Ongoing potential exists for the right person.

About the Role
This role goes beyond standard warehouse duties. While you'll be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching goods, you'll also be involved in preparing equipment for delivery-including washing machinery and applying touch-up paint. You'll need to be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack spare parts and whole goods for dispatch
• Receive and correctly locate incoming goods
• Load/unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and other machinery in line with safety standards
• Wash equipment prior to dispatch
• Apply touch-up paint as required
• Prepare tractors and loaders for dispatch (including decals, radios, accessories)
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report any equipment damage
• Travel to off-site locations (3PL) as required

What We're Looking For

• Current forklift license (essential)
• Experience operating forklifts with care and precision
• Physically fit - heavy lifting required
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Good computer/system knowledge
• Reliable and self-managing
• Patient, level-headed, and proactive
