Recruiting a part time Kaimahi Hauora/Support worker for our client in Waikanae.

Shift available is every 2^nd Monday 0800-1500.

Role:

You will be providing essential daily support to our client with a long-term disability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to our kiritaki/clients enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
• Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.

Essential:

• Entitlement to work in New Zealand
• Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends, evenings, and overnights when needed
• Full drivers' licence
• Good command of the English language

Preferred:

• Health and Wellbeing qualification
• Experience in the health and disability sector
• Respectful, with an empathetic and compassionate nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understand the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability
