Our clients are looking for proactive, motivated and considered support workers to help regain independence and engage in activities within the community. We are looking for Kaimahi Hauora | Support Workers to provide short-notice cover to our Kāpiti based clients, and to fill shifts permanently, including.

  • Monday & Wednesday 3.30pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday & Friday, 9am to 10am & 1pm to 2.30pm
  • Saturday 9am to 10am & 11am to 6pm
  • Sunday 11am to 7pm & 4pm to 5.30pm.

You must reside in Kāpiti to be considered for this mahi.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to our Kiritaki | Clients enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life
  • Engage in kōrero | conversation with our Clients, and help run the daily plan
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal and complex care, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for our Kiritaki | Clients.

Essential:

  • Eentitlement to work in Aotearoa | New Zealand
  • Adapabtability and reliability
  • Full driver's licence, clean police vetting result and satisfactory references
  • A willingness to learn including completing online training modules
  • Good command of the English language and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Health and Wellbeing, or similar qualification(s)
  • Understanding of the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability.
