Working with a locally owned and operated company who prides themselves in taking care of lawn and garden care. Having sites all over NZ and continuing to expand, the Hamilton team is on the hunt for a new Regional Manager to join the team!

About the role:

The client is searching for a candidate who must have experience in this industry. A Monday to Friday role will allow a great work life balance and each day will provide its new challenges with everything related to lawn and garden care. Your days will be filled with a variety of tasks from keeping lawns lush, hedges/line trimmed, tree pruning and maintaining vibrant gardens. Our client is after a candidate who us comfortable operating and maintaining various lawn mowing & garden care tools, who will ensure that every project is completed to the highest standard.

In this role, you will be managing your time from being on the tools, to providing training and meeting up with clients. You will be expected to demonstrate great interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with clients, understanding what their expectations are and providing them with suggestions.

Key responsibilities:

• On the tools.
• Support and development franchisees.
• Business development.

Skills and experience:

• 3+ years of proven prior experience in similar industry/role.
• Ability to operate industry related equipment (mowing, hedge/line trimming, tree Pruning, ride on).
• Ideally, qualifications in Horticulture.
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• native or advanced English.
