Our client is a family-owned business involved in the Stainless-Steel sector who service the Matamata-Piako Area. They are looking for a Tradesman Assistant to join their close-knit team.

About the role:

Our client is offering a full-time position Monday to Friday role (7.30am to 4pm) with great work life balance.

• Grinding, cutting & welding stainless steel.
• Working within a team environment.
• Dealing with customers & subcontractors.
• Reading over production plans.

About you:

• Previous experience in a Welding & Fabrication environment. (Not essential but preferred)
• Takes pride in your work & willing to go the extra mile.
• Creative thinker and looking for ways to improve.
• Good people skills.
• Friendly and approachable.
• Hands on, high attention to detail.
• Highly motivated and keen learner.
• Full NZ Driver's License.
• Own hand tools required.
