As part of their growing presence, they are looking for a Senior Development Manager to join the team and lead the development of new acquisitions and enhancement projects across the growing portfolio.

Role Overview: As the Senior Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, design, and execution of new and existing holiday park developments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and other local entities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in managing complex development projects within the hospitality or leisure sector will be crucial in helping us achieve our vision for expansion and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development process for new holiday parks, including site identification, acquisition, planning, and construction.
• Oversee the refurbishment and enhancement of existing parks, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer expectations.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Prepare detailed development strategies and financial models, ensuring projects are financially viable.
• Liaise with local authorities, planning bodies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.
• Report to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing development projects within the leisure, hospitality, or property sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the planning, construction, and operational aspects of holiday park developments.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, working with external contractors, and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to develop and manage project budgets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in a related field
