Warehouse/Storeperson role - Aluminium

We are looking for candidates based in Hamilton to work in an Aluminium company. Hours may vary Monday to Friday. Hourly rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and client specifications. Start date for this position is ASAP. You must have previous experience working with Aluminium manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour duties as assigned, including but not limited to lifting and moving materials, general cleaning and assisting skilled tradespeople.
• Inspecting and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and always maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Safely operate forklift.

Candidates should possess:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Attitude and adaptability while showing a willingness to be part of the growing team.
• Knowledge and previous experience of site safety rules and regulations in a warehousing environment
• Reliable transport and clean full driver's license.
• Two professional work references.
• Willingness to learn and being able to use initiative.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Pass a pre-employment drug.
• Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check.
• Valid OSH certificate is a must.
