Class 2 Delivery Driver - Full-Time Permanent

Our client is a leading national supplier in the foodservice industry, delivering a wide range of chilled, frozen, and ambient products to hospitality, healthcare, and retail businesses. They are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused class 2 delivery driver to join their busy distribution team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a minimum of 45 hours per week, with shifts running Monday to Saturday. You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and accurately, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards. The role involves handling temperature-sensitive products, so attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customer sites across the region, following scheduled routes
• Handle stock with care and follow procedures for returns and credits
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
• Follow health & safety and food safety protocols, including temperature checks
• Collect and manage delivery crates
• Communicate respectfully with customers and team members.

What You'll Bring

• A Class 2 licence is preferred, but we're happy to train the right candidate who holds a full Class 1 licence and is willing to learn from the ground up with the right processes
• Customer service excellence
• Forklift experience is advantageous, but not essential
• Strong time management and communication skills
• A commitment to safety, hygiene, and customer service
