We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator with a strong work ethic to join our client in South Auckland. If you have a valid Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence, and are looking for a new opportunity to apply your skills, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• Must hold both Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences.
• Minimum of 4 years operating forklift machines.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg at any one time.
• Strong numeracy skills for stocktaking and performing basic storeperson duties.
• Based in South Auckland, applicants must be local or able to reliably commute to the area.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety practices in a warehouse.
• Dependable and punctual, with a focus on meeting daily targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate both Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to move goods and materials around the warehouse.
• Perform stocktaking and assist with general storeperson duties as required.
• Ensure the safe and proper storage of products, following all operational and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, free of obstacles.
• Report any issues or faults with forklifts and equipment to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation and workflow.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
