Our client, a leading glass manufacturing and distribution company, is expanding their production team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a modern facility with full training and development provided.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a minimum of 40 hours per week. The salary is competitive, and the role is available for an immediate start. Full training is provided to operate precision machinery, making this a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. For the right candidate, relocation support is also available. You'll be joining a dedicated and positive team in a clean, modern working environment.
You will be trained to operate a variety of glass processing machines, including CNC, Waterjet, and Tempering equipment. Your role will also involve routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and accurate reporting. A strong focus on health and safety compliance is essential in this position.
While previous manufacturing experience is preferred, it is not essential. More importantly, you'll bring strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills are important, along with being physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
