We're recruiting on behalf of a leading freight and logistics provider seeking a strategic and commercially savvy Commercial Manager to drive growth across the Wellington region.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role focused on acquiring regional and national accounts, managing key client relationships, and supporting franchise partners to deliver exceptional service. You'll play a critical part in shaping commercial strategy, leading tenders, and driving international export growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new B2B, multi-branch, and national accounts to meet ambitious sales targets.
  • Lead tender and RFP submissions with tailored, competitive proposals.
  • Manage and grow key accounts through strategic reviews and retention initiatives.
  • Support franchisees with sales training and lead conversion.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide commercial insights to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in B2B sales or commercial management, ideally in logistics or freight.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven success in sales strategy execution and customer retention.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to influence across all levels.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and intermediate MS Office skills.
