Summary:

Working with a locally owned and operated company who prides themselves in taking care of lawn and garden care. Having sites all over NZ and continuing to expand, the Hamilton team is on the hunt for a new Team Leader!

About the role:

Monday to Friday role with great work life balance.

• On the tools - Maintaining lush lawns, hedge trimming, tree pruning, fertilising plants, irrigation/pest management and maintaining vibrant gardens.
• Ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• You will be dealing with clients, understanding what their expectations are and providing them with suggestions. You'll be responsible for quoting every project to meet the client's needs.
• You'll take part in part in passing on your knowledge to fellow franchise owners. Working closely with them to ensure they follow the best practices and are provided with the best possible training to complete projects to the highest standards.

Skills and experience:

• 3+ years of proven prior experience in similar industry/role (Garden & Lawn care is a must).
• Ability to operate industry related equipment (mowing, hedge/line trimming, tree pruning, ride on).
• Ideally, qualifications in Horticulture.
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Native or advanced English.
