About the Role:
This hands-on role is based in a busy sawmill environment, supporting the production team with timber handling and basic machinery operation. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with a mix of physical activity and equipment use. It's well-suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working outdoors, and is keen to learn new skills in a supportive team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and stack lumber on the round table
• Strap and label timber packs in the strapping bay
• Operate basic conveyor belts, chains, and transfer systems
• Work outdoors for 40-50% of the day
• Perform medium physical work for 30-40% of the day
• Full training provided

Candidate Requirements:

• Medium level of physical fitness
• Experience in industrial environments and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Production environment experience is an advantage
• Ability to work in a diverse team
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail
