Ensuring that the machines can run smoothly with limited down time. With multiple in line food manufacturing procedures and lines working this role is important and requires an experienced candidate who can make positive impacts on the business.

About the role:

The role is responsible for machine electrical maintenance ensuring that the factory is able to run at optimal levels while being able to assess and resolve machine breakdowns in a timely and cost effective manner. Being an important member and working along side the chief engineer the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to breakdowns, machinery improvements and installing equipment. Having electrical engineering background, you'll be able to establish a preventative maintenance programme, prestart programmes with operators as well as an effective spare parts database and storage solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing machine maintenance and breakdowns
• Creating standards and procedures for spares parts
• Preventative maintenance scheduling
• Communication with machine operators and management
• Coordinate and assist within factory processes

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated workplace leadership
• Mechanical engineering background
• Production and manufacturing experience
• Experience in health and safety practices
• Ability to self manage
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
