Summary

We're looking for dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients living with brain and spinal cord injuries. These are long-term clients who require complex care, personal support, and assistance with community access.

Clients are based in Tauranga, Rotorua, Tokoroa, and Cambridge, and we are seeking flexible support workers who are willing and able to travel across these areas as needed.

We are especially seeking staff available for morning, afternoon, weekend, and sleepover shifts, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts when available.

About the Role

You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and local communities. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care (e.g. bowel care and hygiene support)

• Hoisting, manual handling, and assisted transfers

• Stretches and mobility support

• Household tasks and meal preparation

• Medication administration

• Supporting community access (shopping, appointments, social visits)

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role (essential due to complex care needs)

• Based in Tauranga, Rotorua, or Tokoroa, and willing to travel as needed

• Available for a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers

• Full NZ Driver's Licence and reliable transport

• NZ residency or valid work visa

• Willingness to study toward NZQA Health and Wellbeing qualifications

• A strong commitment to long-term support work
