The Company:

Our client is New Zealand owned business, providing services across Civil, drainage, earthworks, digger hires. They're looking for a Health and Safety Officer to help out for a short-term assignment.

The Role:

  • Updating of Risk Registers
  • Lead health, safety, and well-being procedures
  • Monthly reporting of H&S results
  • Working proactively with all employees
  • Coordination, review, and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Assisting with performance management
  • Assisting with disciplinary processes
  • Temporary assignment

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a H&S Officer
  • Experience across a number of varied occupational settings
  • Sound working knowledge of NZ occupational health and safety
  • Experience with civil health and safety would be advantageous
  • Committed and reliable
  • Available for up to 8 weeks
  • Available for immediate start
