THE COMPANY:

An international brand that specializes in manufacturing a range of paint colours, are currently on the search for a Purchasing Officer in a part time temporary on-going assignment. Fit around your lifestyle and other commitments or fill the gap with this temp assignment starting immediately.

THE ROLE:

• Responsible for ensuring raw materials, packaging materials and consumables are ordered
• Accurately manage orders using the SAP ERP/MRP process
• Provide crucial support in the day-to-day scheduling
• Communicating forecasts and increased/decreased
• Managing stock levels to agreed safety stock

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience within purchasing, materials management, inventory management or similar
• Strong administration skills and close attention to detail
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Ability to work proactively and with a high degree of accuracy
• Effective Interpersonal / relationships with all departments, & suppliers
• Advanced XL competent
• Strong written & verbal communication
