Recruiting Kaimahi Hauora/Support workers for our client in the Paraparaumu area

You would support our client to lead a positive and independent life and enable them to engage in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to our kiritaki/clients enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal and complex care, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.

Essential:

  • Entitlement to work in New Zealand
  • Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends, evenings, and overnights
  • Good command of the English language

Preferred:

  • Health and Wellbeing qualification
  • Experience in the health care sector
  • Empathetic and compassionate nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability
  • Full drivers licence
