Support workers required to assist our clients with spinal cord injury's. Clients require complex care, home-help and community support. Clients are located in Rotorua.

We are seeking support workers who are available for mornings, afternoon and night shifts from Monday's to Sunday's.

Drake Medox supports individuals with complex injury and to live independently at home with our professional home care staff.

About the role:

• Personal cares - bowel cares and catheter management
• Complete stretches and transfers using hoists
• Household chores, meal preparation and medication administration
• Assisting the client with accessing community facilities, going shopping, meeting friends and attending medical appointments

Skills and attributes required:

• Support Worker or similar experience is preferred
• Live in Rotorua
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday
• Right to work in New Zealand
• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence and your own reliable transport
• Willingness to study towards NZQA Health and Well-being qualifications
• Ability to commit to the position long term
