About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified or experienced Mechanic/Technician to handle a range of tasks, including routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and major overhauls of our fleet and customers requirements. This position offers a diverse workload with both workshop and field duties. We provide a service vehicle, tools, and a laptop to ensure our Mechanics/Technicians can perform precise diagnostics and repairs. The role is based at our Auckland depot in Penrose, with flexible working hours available and a guaranteed 42.5 hours per week.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience with servicing and repairing heavy diesel telehandlers, especially major brands and associated components
  • Proactive approach to equipment maintenance and upkeep
  • Ability to maintain high standards with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety practices
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Current full, clean driver's license with F, HT, WTR endorsements preferred (but not essential)
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
