Our Client is seeking an experienced and reliable Class 2 Truck Driver to join their team in Lower Hutt. You will be responsible for collecting and transporting recyclable materials, as well as the servicing of council bins with the Wellington City area.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a Class 2 Compactor truck to collect and transport recyclable materials and council refuse.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily collection targets
• A strong commitment to Health and Safety

Requirements:

• A valid Class 2 driver's license.
• Desire to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to safety and following procedures
