About the Role:

As the South Island Territory Manager for Steelfort, you'll be at the forefront of our clients sales operations for New Zealand's leading Outdoor Power Equipment brands including: LawnMaster, Cub Cadet, Hustler, Rover and Prime Parts. You are responsible for planning and executing sales strategies to support and grow their network of retail and service dealers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our products not only reach the right markets but also shine in their presentations and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Activities: Engage with dealers to ensure they have the tools and support needed.
  • Expand the Dealer Network: Actively seek out and on board new dealers.
  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring market trends and sharing insights.
  • Product Knowledge Training: Conduct training workshops to ensure dealers are well-versed in product offerings.
  • Stock and Display Management: Ensure products are well-stocked, professionally presented, and prominently displayed in stores.
  • Event Representation: Promote products at trade shows/field days.
  • Resolve Dealer Concerns: Act as a reliable point of contact for dealers, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the territory management or within the outdoor power equipment industry.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • A proactive approach to expanding business networks and resolving issues.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for work with occasional overnights
