We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Worker. This position will suit someone who has a positive can-do attitude and a good sense of humour. Reliability is essential.

About the client:

The client we are currently recruiting for is a male with a spinal injury based in Palmerston North.

Our client is positively engaged in the community, is independent in his own decision making and enjoys socialising.

What is the role about?

You will assist our client in:

• Personal support including showering, passive stretches, bowel, and bladder cares
• Household management including preparing meals, and cleaning
• Taking our client out to his appointments, and other social events

The ideal candidate should have the willingness to learn and have:

• Right to work in NZ - Citizen, NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Ability to communicate competently in English
• Experience working with a spinal cord injury client is preferred but not essential

Benefits:

• Pay rate $21.50 - $27.00 per hour depending on industry qualifications
