Assignment:

This is a 13-bed residential service providing 24/7 care for tāngata whai ora experiencing mental health challenges and alcohol and other drug (AoD) dependency. The service offers a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment where residents receive personalised care, clinical oversight, and assistance in developing wellness strategies to support their transition to more independent living.

The RN will be rostered 3-5 days per week, predominantly on day shifts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight and management of medication administration and documentation
  • Active participation in the intake process, including completing initial clinical assessments and risk reviews
  • Development and implementation of individual wellness and recovery plans in collaboration with the wider clinical and support team
  • Supporting clinical decision-making and contributing to multidisciplinary meetings

Requirements:

  • NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC
  • At least 6 months work experience in NZ
  • Nurse with Mental Health and/or addictions experience a bonus
  • Available for wor
  • Open work visa, residency or NZ Citizen
  • Passionate about delivering second to none care
  • Reliable car or close access to regular public transport
