Drake Medox is a well-respected agency that has been operating in New Zealand for 40 years, we provide services to people with disabilities. Our aim is to support people to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

We are currently looking for passionate Support Workers to work with clients in the wider Tauranga region. We have roles available that will be rostered shifts that will include Mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends these roles are ongoing.

As a Support Worker you will be working with a variety of individuals to support them with daily personal care and household tasks to ensure that can continue to live comfortable in their own home.

Reliability and flexibility are essential. Hours and days can be negotiable.

• Skills required:

  • Empathy for others, and the genuine desire to help people.
  • Communication skills
  • A positive attitude towards personal learning and development of new skills
  • Previous experience would be preferred but is not necessary as full training is provided
  • Full driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to work alternative weekends and rostered shifts is a requirement for this position
  • Right to work in NZ - Citizen, NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

• Pay rate $21.50 - $27.00 per hour depending on industry qualifications
