We're seeking a skilled individual with a solid background in forklift operation, including an OSH certification (F endorsement not required), and machine operating experience. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in driving larger, heavy machinery and possess a keen eye for detail.
This role offers a 4 on 4 off roster with 2 days and 2 nights.

About the role:

This position offers a unique opportunity for growth, starting as a temporary role with the potential for permanent placement. The role involves a mix of forklift operation and machine management, providing a dynamic work environment for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the weekly washing of machinery in a vertical pit, descending approximately 6 meters. Cleaning underneath the press in a confined space is also part of the routine, which may involve descending a ladder into a pit and managing waste removal.

Candidates should possess:

• A team player attitude with good, open, and honest communication skills
• A minimum of two year's experience driving a forklift
• Sound knowledge of machine operating
• Physically fit
• Background in manufacturing
• Reliable transport
• 2 work references
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check
