Drake Medox is a well-respected agency that has been operating in New Zealand for over 50 years, we provide services to people in our community with long term injuries and disabilities. Our aim is to support our clients to live independently as possible in their own environment.

We are currently looking for part-time Support Workers with weekend availability to work with a number of our clients in the Wellington region. We have a range of shifts available that vary from morning, afternoon and night shifts. As a Support Worker you will be supporting our clients to live a full and varied lifestyle. This will involve engaging in rehab therapy, domestic household tasks, community access, daily personal cares activities and supporting our clients to work on their goals and pursue their hobbies and passions. You must work well within a team and have a great attitude.

skills required:

• Empathy for others, and the genuine desire to help people
• Fantastic interpersonal skills
• A positive can-do attitude towards personal learning and development of new skills
• Must be currently in New Zealand with correct entitlement to commence work

Preferred Skills:

• Full Drivers license and vehicle
• Experience working with someone who has had a Disability
• NZQA Qualification in Health and Wellbeing
