A fantastic opportunity to join an Architectural Hardware team as a Showroom Consultant at their Wellington Store. Our client is one of New Zealand's leading retailers of architectural hardware in both the Residential and Commercial markets.

Our client takes great pride in helping its customers apply the finishing architectural hardware finishes that make all the difference to their completed building projects.

This is a great role where you will be interacting with clients who are seeking middle to high-end architectural hardware, as well as ordering and seeing in stock, processing orders and giving exceptional service to our customers.

Your key focus will be to grow sales by providing outstanding service to our customers.

Your new role covers:

• Providing outstanding service person to person in the Showroom, over the telephone or by email
• Making sure products meet customer specification requirements
• Providing timely and accurate pricing
• Product knowledge to provide the best customer advice
• Order preparation and dispatch
• Supporting the Branch and Territory Sales Manager's
• Stock management, merchandising, showroom presentation and stock taking
• You will also be able to develop your skills in building customer relationships, product presentations, training, promotions, and technical support.

You will bring:

• You have an eye for interior design
• You have a bubbly outgoing personality
• Experienced with operating computers, Microsoft Office and POS although
• Training will be given on POS
• Can write and speak with ease
• Time management and organisational skills
• Creative and enjoy problem-solving.
• Hard-working and flexible as this is a busy working environment
• Go the extra mile to provide customers with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable service
• Physically strong as there is heavy lifting required
