ABOUT THE ROLE:
Drake New Zealand is on the lookout for a skilled and driven Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and enhancing the online presence of two distinct brands: Drake, a leading recruitment agency, and Medox, which specialises in medical and homecare recruitment and services. This mid-level position is perfect for someone who thrives on execution, creativity, and the challenge of growing brand engagement in both sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Communications and campaign management: Manage all communications and campaigns across Drake Core and Medox with a focus on positive outcomes, brand growth and audience engagement.
Social Media Management: Develop, implement, and manage tailored social media strategies for both Drake and Medox, considering the unique audiences and goals of each brand. Actively monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a positive community and ensuring timely communication with followers and clients.
Content Creation: Create and curate engaging, relevant content across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency with each brand's voice and values.
Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyse performance metrics, providing insights and adjusting strategies to achieve or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Paid Social Media Advertising: Collaborate with the digital marketing agency to enhance the effectiveness of paid social advertising campaigns, with a focus on boosting engagement and conversion rates.
Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and competitive.
Event management: Own and manage all events, whether internal or external, for Drake Core and Medox, with a focus on positive outcomes and seamless attendee experiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and recruitment goals.
KPIs:
Social Engagement Growth: Achieve consistent growth in follower count, likes, comments, and shares across all social channels for both Drake and Medox.
Advertising Effectiveness: Increase engagement rates and conversions from paid social media campaigns, contributing to business growth.
Brand Awareness: Enhance the visibility and reputation of both Drake and Medox within their respective markets through strategic content and social media management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications and social media management, ideally within the recruitment, not-for-profit, disability or healthcare sectors.
Skills: Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their specific audiences.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with different audiences.
Creativity: A creative thinker who can generate innovative content ideas and adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs.
Independence: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools, as well as experience with paid social media advertising.
