Summary:

This role is a key part of the business for our dairy client based in Reporoa. This is a temporary position starting immediately where you will be part of the automotive purchasing and inventory team.

About the role:

Our client is looking for a candidate who is comfortable with providing a high level of service. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to; maintaining purchasing records, packaging and delivery of products on time to correct areas, following all correct health and safety standards. The client is happy to provide on the job training to further develop skills and build new ones.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining up to date store documents.
• Monitor and use reports ensuring purchasing and payments records are maintained
• Ensure inventory management processes are followed
• Database compliance is followed
• Receive and unpack incoming goods.
• Assemble and pack outgoing orders and send them out to relevant departments.
• Check the quantity and quality of goods coming in and going out.
• Create and check transactions and keep records up to date.
• Keep track of stock

Skills & Experience:

• To thrive in this role, you must be highly reliable and have great communication skills.
• Inwards and outwards goods experience - previous experience working in a store's environment.
• High attention to detail and strong computer skills
• Physically fit - heavy lifting and long period of standing is involved
• Time management skills and an ability to multitask
• Current OSH certificate is an advantage.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
