The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Timber Sales Support specialist to assist our clients team in managing customer orders, maintaining inventory records, Quoting, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the timber industry and administrative and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team with order processing, quotations, and invoicing
  • Communicate with customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain and update customer records
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Provide product information and support to customers as needed
  • Help manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers for restocking
  • Support the sales team with reporting and market analysis

About You

  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administration, ideally within the timber, construction, or building materials industry
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of timber products and industry trends is a plus
